WinUtilities calls itself an 'all in one optimization suite', and that's not a bad description. From cleaning to scheduled tasks and changing settings, this is a hub for taking care of your Windows PC.
WinUtilities' simple interface is split into six tabs, each a different area of Windows maintenance. There are system cleaners, system optimizers, system control, tools, registry tools and file tools. Each tab has more tools under the hood, so if you want to do something specific you can.
If you're in a hurry, you can click '1-Click Maintenance', which will perform a complete set of tasks in a single click. If you want to do more clicks, you can check and uncheck some tasks that 1-Click Maintenance does. You can also save time by setting up schedules tasks, which will automate your optimization with your specifications.
There are many programs like WinUtilities, and this is neither worse nor better than the competition. While it's easy to use and does do what it says, it's very difficult to judge with today's high powered PCs whether you really gain anything noticeable by optimization. on the other hand, it's a quick way to clear multiple histories and free up a little hard drive space sometimes.
WinUtilities it easy to use and does exactly what it claims, but, as with all optimizers - don't expect miracles.
